Description
Ibnu Abbas was the son of Abbas bin Abdul Mutthalib, the uncle of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him—PBUH). This cousin of the Prophet (PBUH) was a brilliant person. His brilliance was evident since he was a kid. He was also very eager in acquiring knowledge.
As such, he grew up to be a very knowledgeable person and a man of wisdom. His thinking and arguments were sharp. He always played the role of a mediator in any misunderstanding among the Muslims. The respected Ibnu Abbas died at the age of 71 years.
