Description
The crusaders had the big ambition of conquering the Arab territories to strengthen their power and widen their control. The first move was by taking control of Jerusalem. It was an easy target as the Muslims were not well prepared.
At the same time, the Muslims were also worried with the growing power of the crusaders. The only way to stop them was for the Muslims to unite. Efforts to that end were initiated by Governor of Mushil, Imanuddin Zanki.
Shalahuddin Al-Ayubi, also known as Saladin, was the great Muslim army commander who led the Muslims in many battles against the crusaders. Each time the Muslims emerged winner. Shalahuddin was also a very good war strategist.
Altough defeated in many battles, the crusaders still had the burning intention of crushing the Muslims. The final battle was when they marched to Tiberiade to attack the Muslim force. But Shalahuddin and his soldiers waited for them at Mount Hith Thin which the crusaders had to pass through on their way to Tiberiade. Here the Muslims gave the final blow and crushed the crusaders totally.
